Suwada Nail Clipper
You normally a nail clipper and then discard it within months, increasing your environmental footprint. We were asked to design a clipper that can be maintained for years, and sharpened if necessary.
The cutting performance is excellent, leaving a smooth surface, with a nail file attached if you need it. The material used is high carbon stainless steel. The same steel is used to forge high quality Japanese knives.
The opening of the blade is 1.5mm, making ideal for finger nails.
The handles have been carefully studied and engineering to allow you to hold it with two fingers, while remaining stable and safe while cutting your nails. The result gave the new nail clipper one Japanese and two international design awards.
The clipper is made in Suwada Open Factory, where it is carefully sharpened, tested, examined and packed using environmentally friendly material.
How to use a nail clipper for better results
Look at your finger nails and think of how you'd like them to look.
Cut them slowly, in small pieces and around the edges. Reach form you imagined without cutting too deep near the skin.
Allow the corners to grow a little more if you have ingrown nails. File only if necessary.
Work with your body, don't force it to behave as you wish in a small period of time. Cut your nails regularly and allow 2-3 weeks of usage for more visible results.
